Summer School Information

Future Ready Summer School provides students with opportunities for credit recovery and selected credit advancement courses in a structured, supportive lab environment.

Important Registration Information

Registration and orientation are required for students attending summer school for credit recovery. Students enrolling in Personal Finance are also strongly encouraged to attend orientation to help ensure success in the course.

What Families Should Know

Credit recovery is available for eligible students
Selected credit advancement courses may be offered
All credit advancement course tests must be taken at school and proctored by a lab facilitator
No refunds are provided for summer courses
Students should contact their school’s Future Ready facilitator with questions

Summer school is designed to support students in completing needed coursework while maintaining clear expectations for attendance, registration, orientation, and proctored testing.

Lab Expectations

Each school provides an open lab for student support
Testing must be completed in a supervised school setting
Students should arrive early enough to complete testing within lab hours
Lab facilitators support students throughout the process

Orientation & Registration

Registration is required before enrollment is finalized
Orientation is mandatory for credit recovery students
Orientation is highly recommended for Personal Finance students
Students must complete required registration steps before payment

Fees

There is a fee for each half-credit advancement course
Credit recovery courses are offered at no charge
No refunds are available for summer courses

School Locations

Students report to designated school lab locations
Some students may report to Cookeville High School based on program needs
Upperman and Monterey students report to their respective schools

Meals & Support

Schools provide breakfast daily
Students may also receive a take-home lunch
Future Ready facilitators can help families with questions and next steps
